2016 PARCC Information

Throughout the school year our teachers have been helping students develop the content knowledge and fluencies of the Illinois Learning Standards. As a part of the Illinois State Board of Education’s evaluation on learning progress, all children in grades 3-8 will be taking the Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC) Assessment. A major change from the 2014-2015 school year is that this year there is only one assessment window. Flossmoor School District 161’s PARCC Testing window is April 4 through May 3, 2016. Your child’s teacher will share specific testing dates closer to the testing window.
